PC Setup
When you buy a new desktop computer the last thing you want is to read through reams of manuals. We know that you just want to get on with the fun stuff. So we have created our PC Set Up service to get your shiny new desktop computer up and running. We offer our desktop computer setup service in your home for convenience.
What's included?
- A short consultation about how your desktop computer will be setup, then unpack and ensure all the bits are in the box.
- Make sure it turns on and then configure Microsoft Windows and your user accounts using details you provided in the consultation.
- We'll setup and install any peripherals and software you bought with your new desktop.
- If we're setting up your desktop computer at home we'll connect it to your broadband router, Internet connection and setup your email account.
- If you bought mobile broadband with your desktop computer we'll install and set up the software for you.
- We'll make sure your desktop computer is secure by installing the latest Windows Updates, configuring parental controls and your Internet Security software (if purchased with your PC).
- If your desktop computer needs recovery discs creating, we'll run the software and create them for you. These will allow you to re-install Windows in the future should you need to.
